How does JDL feel about Dr. Baruch Goldstein?...We feel that Goldstein took a preventative measure against yet another Arab attack. We understand his motivation, his grief and his actions. We are not ashamed to say that Goldstein was a charter member of the Jewish Defense League. We quote without comment the rabbi who conducted the services at Goldstein's funeral, "A MILLION ARABS ARE NOT WORTH ONE JEWISH FINGERNAIL." FYI: That is what Rabbi Perin said in his eulogy at the funeral of New York doctor Baruch Goldstein who used an assault rifle to kill 29 men, women and children while they were worshiping at a mosque (quote first reported Feb. 28, 1994 by Clyde Haberman in the New York Times). The Jewish Defense League quoted the rabbi "without comment" on their U.S. based web site! When in 1999 CompuSerb linked to the article above, shortly thereafter the site was shut down. OUR COMMENT: How do we justify to Arab-Americans such bigotry in our midst, and what would the lives of any one of us be worth under Zionist rule if we didn't spend $167 million in defense and aid on Israel each day? |
